Tara LaRosa is regarded by many as the best female mixed martial artist in the world, yet somehow it’s hard to write a story about her that does not mention Gina Carano.

Whoops. Add this one to the list.

Tara is a willing participant in the ring and cage. She also takes on all comers in the media, although at this point the demands on her by the Fourth Estate pale in comparison to the “It” girl of MMA.

Fortunately for you, Tara is a friend of The Rear Naked Choke, Featuring Joe & Ted. Here at JoeTed.com, we try to keep it light, but by doing so we tend to uncover some things about some people that you usually do not get anywhere else. For some reason, many people really like to open up to us when we have them on the air.

While we could sit here and blog or report about every single controversial word of every interview, instead we prefer you just listen to the shows yourself and draw your own conclusions. We have had on a lot of recognizable stars in the sport, but we also pride ourselves in having our favorites, like Bad Brad Blackburn, Rory Markham, Roy “Big Country” Nelson, Renzo Gracie, the Miller brothers, Bas Rutten, and others.

Now add Tara LaRosa to top friends. We loved her so much the first time, that we could wait only a month to have her on again. It’s all relevant because she is fighting Roxanne Modafferi on Nov. 8 at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago on the Ironheart Crown/AFL card, and because she was able to give her unique take on the Gina Carano-Kelly Kobald fight that happened just days prior to the interview.

The conversation suddenly somehow turned to boobs and being naked in front of a room full of press for a weigh-in, and then all bets were off.
