Nelson, nicknamed “Big Country”, is the choice to win the next TUF series, which features Kimbo Slice and is comprised of 16 heavyweights. The first episode airs Sept. 16, but you can hear Roy talk about it right here. “As a fighter, Kimbo is one of the best guys around,” Roy told Joe & Ted. “I think this is the best (TUF) season by far.”
Big Country trains in his house, not some fancy gym, and his wife, Jessy (the Boss Lady), acts as his agent and also represents other fighters, including some from The Ultimate Fighter house.
Tara, as first reported by JoeTed.com, has agreed to join Bellator to head a four-woman tournament for the 125-pound belt. With WAMMA’s 125-pound No. 1 Rosi Sexton already a part of Bellator, there are two spots open for the tournament. Tara gives the scoop on how the deal came about and talked about her negotiations with Strike Force, as well.
Brad gave made his last appearance before shoulder surgery. He talked in depth about how the results of the surgery could leave him out for as short as six weeks but as long as nine months. Brad was in Las Vegas for UFC 100 with the likes of WEC lightweight champion Mike Brown, Strike Force star Benji Radach and Dennis Hallman, terming it the best trip he has ever had to Sin City. Find out about his six-day UFC-style partying!
