The Ultimate Fighter 10 competitor Zak Jensen joins host Joe Rizzo of JoeTed.com on Rear Naked Choke Radio every Thursday for a special recap of each episode.  This show was more special, since Zak fought on Episode 6.

On Episode 6, Darrill was getting badly tweaked by Rampage Jackson.  It eventually came down that Team Rashad opted to let Darrill take part in the next fight, despite a speech from Rashad Evans and his coaches about drinking during his time in the house.

Zak was the chosen opponent.

A victim of relentless teasing, Zak remained focused throughout the show, even as the other fighters in the house were taking bets on which day he would snap.

During sparring, Zak received a cut above his right eye, causing Kimbo to celebrate a potential return to the Octagon.  But the cut only seemed to inspire and wake up Zak.

The fight started with some exchanges on the feet.  The heavyweights moved around the Octagon and Darrill delivered a knee to the torso that stunned Zak enough to let down his guard.  Darrill responded by unleashing his fists, but instead of getting knocked out, Zak shot on Darrill’s left leg and earned a quick takedown.

Darrill got Zak into a triangle choke, but Zak was delivering right-handed hammer fists, appearing a few times to possibly have a chance to improve his position.  But Darrill kept getting his legs more and more tight around Zak’s neck, and Zak eventually went out.

Stay on the lookout for unique TUF 10 shows as the season plays out.  Joe is on every Thursday with Zak in addition to our regular Monday shows from LA Boxing in Paramus, NJ.  LA Boxing Paramus has a special Grand Opening event on Saturday, Oct. 24, so get over there if you live in the area.
