As news was breaking that UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock was not going to be fighting Kimbo Slice on Oct. 4, Joe & Ted were live in the press room of the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla.

ELITEXC: HEAT - Kimbo lost (not to Shamrock)
Kimbo lost.
But it was not to Ken Shamrock. In a bizarre turn of events, Shamrock had to relinquish his spot in the main event due to a cut sustained earlier in the day, and Seth Petruzelli stepped in from his spot in a preliminary light-heavyweight bout.

Slice will now fight Seth Petruzelli.
