Tim Kennedy, fresh off the announcement he has joined StrikeForce as an active member of the US Army, took time to give the low-down with Joe and Ted.

Tim’s StrikeForce debut was set for the June 19 card that airs on Showtime.  He is fighting Nick “The Goat” Thompson.

Tim recently was on Inside MMA and talked about what went on behind the scenes with Bas Rutten, a.k.a. El Guapo.  Tim also recalled some of the history of the IFL.  He gave his take on what being a soldier does to help him train for MMA both physically and mentally.

Being in Special Forces, Tim has an unusually important and high profile because recruiting is going to increasingly be a vital role to his service.

Tim said it’s a privlege to be on The RNC. It truly is an honor to have him as a guest.

Tim Kennedy told Joe & Ted on The Rear Naked Choke on Jan. 13 that the Army is going to let him pursue his mixed martial arts career, the first time such a landmark agreement has been carried through.
