Among the topics she handled were the hype and havoc surrouding UFC 100 in Las Vegas and what happens in and around the event.  She also got in-depth about the fights, giving her predicitions for Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir, and for Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves (Joe gave his predictions, also).

Sean Faris from the movie “Never Back Down” did not back down when Riz & The Kitch welcomed him to The Rear Naked Choke, live ringside from the IFL season-opening event at The Orleans in Las Vegas!

Sean talked about the movie and his MMA training with Joe (a.k.a. “Riz”) and James “the Kitch” Kitcher, subbing for Ted, who could not make the trip.

The Vegas shows the first couple of nights were sidetracked by the Doodlebops, but the guys were able to land Geno the Driver for analysis on MMA and things like The Notebook!

During the ringside live stream, the stars had aligned.

The leadoff guest was Elisabeth Nuesser, who owns the smokin-hot Fightchix clothing line! Listeners of The RNC need only email info@fightchix.com to get 15% off their order – Elisabeth said it herself right on the show!

Then Ken Shamrock jumped into the seat and dished about his place in MMA history, the treatment of the UFC to him and others scorned, and his ongoing feud/storyline with his brother, Frank Shamrock. Ken was not fighting on this evening, but he did call out The Kitch in one of The RNC’s all-time classic moments. Hear a tidbit of it in the show-opening teaser!

Gary Grate, who acts as Ken’s assistant coach in the IFL, took the chair and gave the guys a verbal lesson in Brazilian jiu jitsu. Gary is a Charles Gracie disciple and has a jitz school in Reno. He helps the guys in Ken’s Lion’s Den stay sharp on the ground and has forgotten more about MMA than most people will ever know. He’s also a good friend of BJ Penn, but we’re not name-dropping…

Then Faris, the star of the MMA movie Never Back Down, grabbed the headset. Sean was able to relax with the guys while explaining the movie’s plot and how he suffered through some pretty serious training injuries, like a broken back and busted thumb! He also dished about his teen idol status, how he got interested in MMA, and his overall experience with the sport, the movie and his future with both. Riz also asked him about a Never Back Down sequel – listen for the answer!
